Parkwood Energy Committee             
The Parkwood Energy Committee organizes events and provides tips about saving energy in the Inside/Out newsletter.

The big focus of the committee right now is NERP: The Neighborhood Energy Retrofit Program which is using Federal EPA Money to provide greatly discounted energy retrofits for selected qualifying homes in Parkwood and Newhall Village. (Selection will be by lottery among qualifying applicants.) Winning homes will get up to $1500 of work for only $300 from the owner due at the end.  Federal money pays for the rest.  You can find more details on page 5 in the July issue of the Parkwood Inside/Out (available online here).

To take the first step to be entered into the NERP lottery, please do the following:

• Save a copy of the questionnaire (from here) using your street address for a file name,
• Answer the questions, and
• Send the completed questionnaire to cathy4parkwood@yahoo.com.
